My Everyday Makeup Routine

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! The city is finally getting back into the swing of things after being hit with the snowstorm over the weekend.

I thought I’d do a quick post on my everyday makeup routine. My day to day makeup is the complete opposite of my glam look on the weekends. It is very simple, very natural, and you can barely tell that I am wearing anything at all. I like this look for an everyday look because it is much easier to apply when I have ten minutes left to run out the door, and let’s face it, that’s every morning.

 

Here are some of the steps that I follow below:

Here are the products that I use for my everyday look.

I start with a freshly moisturized face and apply my Smashbox Primer

I then fill in my eyebrows with my Smashbox Brow Gel Pencil and conceal my stray hairs with a concealer slightly lighter than my complexion.

I then apply my MAC Studio Finish foundation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I apply my NARS concealer under my eyes and my MAC pro longwear concealer on any dark spots and blemishes.

After applying my concealer, I blend everything in to look seamless and add MAC’s mineralized powder in Dark to set my face.

To not look so one dimensional, I apply a bit of highlighter to my cheekbones, some blush to the apples of my cheeks, and a bit of bronzer to add some warmth to my face. I also apply my KatVonD tattoo liner and a bit of mascara to make my eyes pop. I finish the look with my Boxum nude lip stain and a coat of Boxum’s Tonya gloss.
